Transmitters (4-20 mA) can be used to monitor the level digitally and e.g. control your pump. There are possibilities to supply these types of transmitters in Hart5 or Hart7. In our work area they are most commonly used for reading the level 4-20 mA signal.

This model with reedkette works with a magnetic field. A float with a permanently built-in magnet is inserted into a stainless steel tube that is connected to a tank. This float moves up and down in the tube due to the changes in the liquid level.

The magnet in the float influences the reed switches on the reed probe, which changes the resistance and thus the analog output. A junction box with a transmitter head is mounted on top of the reed probe.

A local display can be mounted on request.
